Little Feet Foundation to empower Bolga youth at inaugural Devt summit

The Little Feet Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to youth development, is set to ignite positive change in Bolgatanga with the inaugural Bolgatanga Youth Empowerment Summit (Bolga YES) 2024.

This landmark event, scheduled for August 3rd, 2024, will serve as a platform for young people in the Upper East Region to connect, share ideas, and gain valuable skills to shape their futures.

The summit, themed “Building Bridges, Making Your Mark”, addresses critical issues Bolgatanga’s youth face. Through workshops, interactive sessions, and inspirational talks by prominent figures, the summit will equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive.

“We are thrilled to launch this initiative in Bolgatanga,” said Azoteyine Sally, Little Feet Foundation’s founder. “Azoteyine Sally recognized the immense potential within the region’s youth and the need to provide them with the resources and support to turn that potential into reality. The summit will be a space for them to connect, collaborate, and discover their passions.”

The one-day summit will encompass a diverse range of topics relevant to young people today. Sessions will focus on skills development, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership training, and mental health awareness. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts in these fields, gaining practical knowledge and guidance.

A key highlight of the summit will be a mentoring session or panel discussion featuring successful and respectful resource persons. We have Reverend Aaron Lambon Fant, Professor Michael Anaba, and Lawyer and Law Lecturer as well as the Head of Kasser Law Firm, Lawyer Clara Kasser Tee.

These individuals will share their inspiring stories, offering valuable insights and mentorship to the aspiring youth.
